Here's a nice Jacoba F#m with inlay. Jacoba comes from Central and South
America. The supply of this wood is limited and I won't be making many, if any,
more flutes from this wood. However, this hard, dense wood gives a superior
tone. I have inlaid a nice strip down the top of this instrument, which I think
adds a nice touch. I've also inlaid two 5mm Sleeping Beauty turquoise cabs on
each end of the flute.
