Birds'-Eye Maple Drone Flute in the key of F#m. This flute is accented at each end with Purple Heart. The birds are also made from Purple Heart.

Above you see a gorgeous drone flute made from Curly Maple and Purple Heart laminated together. The birds are of Purple Heart, as well. It is as beautiful to hear as it is to see. This drone flute is in the key of F#.

This drone is made of  Bird's Eye maple with a contrasting grain. This is a very unique piece of wood. I have also capped the ends with Bubinga to add a nice contrast. Click on this flute to hear it.

The drone above is made from a Central American wood called Bocote. I found this piece with an extremely interesting grain. The pattern is a naturally occurring series of "eye" shapes. I have sandwiched Curly Maple at the ends. The birds are also made of the Curly Maple. Click Here to get a larger picture of this Bocote Drone flute.
