Photos of Where I Live & Work

I'm offering on this page a Curly Myrtle Turquoise Inlaid F#m with a Maple Burl Eagle fetish. Made from the same billet as the other Curly Myrtle F#m on this site, I have inlaid 4 bands of crushed turquoise to represent the 4 directions. Also, the 4 relief holes on the north end represent the 4 directions. The inlaid cabochons are Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. This flute has a very strong voice, especially on the fundamental. Most Native American flutes require a much softer breath on the lowest note. This is normal. However, I was surprised at how robust this one is. If you want to "blast" in a canyon to get your echo or get up in front of a crowd to perform, this flute will definitely project. You won't find many Native American style flutes with a voice as powerful as this one. Of course, you don't have to play it "loud", she responds nicely to a soft subtle breath. It's just that the dynamic range is so great on this flute, you have to experience it to believe it. Seriously.  Anyway, all sales pitches aside. I invite you to peruse the photos and the sound file. I hope you like this offering from Laughing Crow Flutes.
