Photos of Where I Live & Work

A striking figure in this exceptional Bird's Eye Redwood Native American style flute is only the beginning of the beauty of this instrument. Yes, she's beautiful, but she also plays as good as she looks. I've accented this flute with an Eagle carved from Amboyna Burl, which comes from Southeast Asia. The Redwood comes from Northern California. Both woods are rare and the sound that comes from this instrument will please even the most ardent critic. You can listen to the sound of this flute in it's "dry" form by clicking here or you can listen to the "wet canyon"  sound by clicking here. I'll let you be the judge on the looks and performance of this flute. Why pay over one thousand dollars for an exceptional flute when you can have one made by a master (not an industry) for a fraction of the price? Each of my flutes is made with love and care by me, Laughing Crow, and you have my personal guarantee that you will love this instrument. If not, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price. (Shipping is not refundable.)

Thank you for perusing my site and for checking out my work.

Listen to the "dry" version of this instrument. Listen to the "wet" version of this work of art.

All the colors in this wood are natural. The polyurethane finish that I use is as clear as water and only serves to bring out the figure and beauty of this wood,  protecting it from moisture and U/V rays as well as strengthening the wood to help guard against minor damage. I feel that the owner of this instrument will cherish it not only for it's beauty, but it's sound for a lifetime.

Purchase this Birds Eye Redwood Flute in Em with Amboyna Burl Eagle $475.00 (Sold)
This flute is around 26" long overall. The hole spacing on the furthest end is around 1 3/8". If you have small or stiff hands, this instrument may be too hard for you to play. However, if you are comfortable with the longer instruments, this flute shouldn't present any problems. This flute is not for the beginner. It requires a bit of a stretch to play, but if you feel you can reach the holes, you'll be very happy with the tone of this beautiful piece.
