Here's the flute that I made to play on the stage at the Zion Flute and Drum Festival. This is one exceptional instrument. I really don't want to sell it, but there was so much interest in this particular flute, I think I'll put it here so see if anyone is serious about acquiring a really good-playing flute. This is "my" flute, but I need the dough and if it doesn't sell right away, I'll probably take it off the site and keep it for myself. No, this is not some kind of come-on. This is really one of my best flutes, ever. The wood is Bird's Eye Maple. The inlay and end caps are Claro Walnut. The decorative stone is Pietersite, which is akin to Tiger Eye. I think the beauty of the stone accents the beauty of the Claro Walnut inlay. The bird is made from Big Leaf Maple. This flute has a big, open voice. Not much back pressure, here. You can really blast with this flute and it won't falter. Of course, the softer tones are exceptional as well.
